About me
IT support was the foundation. Cloud is where I'm headed.
I moved to Hamburg from Kigali, Rwanda, and spent the last few years deliberately building toward DevOps and Cloud Engineering — bootcamps, certifications, and real hands-on projects, not just theory.
My story
I started in IT support — first at Bank of Kigali's head office, fixing hardware and troubleshooting networks, then freelancing as a web and graphic designer for clients across Rwanda. Along the way I picked up the habit that's stuck with me since: document the fix, not just apply it, so the next person (often future me) isn't solving the same problem twice.
After moving to Germany, I worked as an IT Support Specialist handling Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support, while deliberately building toward cloud infrastructure on the side — three bootcamps (TechWorld with Nana, Neue Fische, AWS re/Start), an AWS certification with more in progress, and real projects in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Jenkins, several of which are on this site.
Right now I'm working full-time while continuing that path and building German language skills — actively looking for a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role where I can put the last two years of deliberate learning to work.
